His Excellency Minister of Culture and Media Mr. Faisal Mohammed Salih and Undersecretary Mr. Rasheed Saied honored us with a visit to UmHaraz ground segment teleport early this week. The Minister was briefed on the work done so far and the renovations made to equip Sudasat’ s Teleport and Network Operations Center for the new Ka-band service.

Mr. Anthony Haggar, CEO of Haggar Group, Mr. Mutaz Awad, Group General Counsel, and Engineer Khalid Ehaimer, General Manager of Sudasat accompanied the Minister during the visit and discussed the near future plans for maximizing cooperation between his Ministry and Sudasat, as well as benefits that Sudan is expecting to gain out of a country wide provision of such a commercially affordable service.
