Haggar group in partnership with The Sudanese Environment Conservation Society (SECS) has taken the initiative of sponsoring the Khartoum Environmental Forum (KEF) in 2014.

The forum was a discussion and consultation platform for all stakeholders concerned with environment issues in Sudan to express their opinions and exchange of experience and knowledge.

KEF has discussed various issues concerning environmental conservation such as natural resources management, climate change impacts and environmental awareness. The forum also represented a good opportunity for networking amongst the various private sector representatives and key actors and experts in this field.

The CSI department aimed at getting concrete intervention ideas out of these forums to formulate community development projects, as well as build a strong and well consolidated environmental policy for Haggar Group.
